The Concourse Authority has pass all responsibility for the 'restoration' of the surface of the Concourse to the Rec and Park Commission. They will approve a bid packet very soon that only a few have seen. I have a few images posted to show the reduction of pedestrian access reflected in this docment.
The Concourse Authority is considering where 800 parking spaces will be removed from the Park. If you'd like to take a crack at it linked you will find a current inventory, and scale maps so you can be parking Czar.

Judge Warren has issued a preliminarily ruling that the Concourse Garage may only have entrances accessed from outside the Park. The private Music Concourse Community Partnership have destroyed our Music Concourse without an approved plan to replace it. Though they were allowed by the Appeals Court to move forward on the Northern Pod in order to meet the deYoung Museum's timeline, the MCCP rushed ahead to destroy the pedestrian tunnels on the south side before the final ruling is issued.

Pedestrian AND AUTO access to and through the Concourse?
ADA access across the Park has been completely severed. A SOLUTION!
With the closure of the Concourse how will people walk across the Park. Not the Concourse Authority, or the Concourse Advisory Committee, or even the Rec & Park Dept. have given it any discussion. Here is where we will now all be walking. If your're on a bike, wheelchair or skates, it's another mile around 'the hole'.
