The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, who run the deYoung, have claimed for months that Sunday attendance is 18% less then Saturdays. This to argue that Sunday's auto free JFK hurts their business. After refusing two months of Supervisors requests for actual attendance, a Freedom of Information request finally forced them to share their numbers just moments before the Supervisors Land Use Committee took up Healthy Saturdays. Below are those number along with garage use.

This clearly shows that daily attendance is actually highest on Sunday. It also shows that the garage which has a capacity of 2,400 cars per day never reaches capacity, though the current level of visitors to the museum exceeds expected levels for BOTH museums after their novelty wares off per the Environmental Impact Reports for both museums.
